I'm a budding watch freak! - OK so I started late - current everyday watch is a Dunhill bi-metal, but my Sundays and special days wach is a Rotary 9ct gold one that was a 21st birthday present (so that makes it 39 years old this year).
I have a small collection of 1940's watches - a Hamilton, a Bulova and an Elgin Driver's watch (the one with hinged lugs - you can wear it on the edge of your wrist so you don't have to turn your arm from the wheel to read the time).
On the novelty side I have a Mickey Mouse 50th Aniversary watch, a Minnie Mouse bubble watch and a Goofiie watch (it goes backwards with the numbers set in reverse sequence on the dial).
Anyone want pictures?
