You guys have weird paint cans over there. Our paint can lids are the same metal as the can, hammered into place, and require a separate metal key to get them off. I have personally
thrown a full paint can onto the cement (well not intentionally, I was swinging my arm and it slipped out of my hand) and it didn't come open.
