I remember seeing Brook Astor in New York a long time ago and thinking she looked so thin that she reminded me of a skeleton with skin on it. But she was always donating money to good causes and going to the Kentucky Derby every year and seemed to be having a good time then.
It's sad to see her life ending this way.
