28 million, day-am. Thats one hell of a social services bill. I wonder how many are on welfare? Probably about the same proportion as the general population. Medical services are really expensive, though..... just for the kids born here that are legal.

Yeah, I've heard the mid-western state thing before, but never seen any evidence it's not an old wives tale. You know, it wouldn't hurt to have a peer reviewed study proving there were no factors other than rounding up the criminals, had any effect?
