Simultaneously Eating and Drinking

I was eating something in the car, and when I was done with the whole thing I took a drink to "wash it down" ...

I thought about the phrase "wash it down" and it's literal meaning, as I felt the food particles goe down my gullet.

I thought about how we usually drink as a part of a meal, drinking between bites, instead of waiting and taking a drink to "wash it down" ...

I began to wonder under what circumstances a primitive hunter gatherer would have such easy access to drinking water. I concluded our evolutionary ancestors would not have had the resources to drink an unlimited amount of water; they would not have water on hand at the same moment that they had food, or vice versa.

I then thought that this constant, unnatural liquid intake might be diluting our digestive juices. I thought, our bodies probably ramp up production to compensate for this. And as a result, we have some of the health problems that we do.

it's a matter of deciding for yourself how important ultra-facility is to your

gives you a little joy or excitement or awe, then you're on the right track.
