yes, no, ooh missus.

After the rampant issue of double entendres in the thread on a roof top box for the car, i thought some dwellars might enjoy some Frankie Howerd.

I was recently directed to a site where of tv shows and movies, inclusing a lot of old British tv stuff.

Here is Up Pompeii with Frankie at his best.
One of IMDB's reviews is "The satire may be more juvenile than Juvenal, but "Up, Pompeii" remains a classic bit of English gutter subversion., "

On that site also "Allo Allo", a comedy about Nazi occupied France, (you'd never get this on US tv ) more double and single entendres, and cliche'd steretyped characters than you can shake a sausage at.

used the catch phrase "Don't Panic" before Douglas Adams.
