To whom it may concern;
I have a couple of questions.
I had an appointment on Wednesday December 5th, 2007 for a myocardial scan. After driving approximately 70 miles to keep this appointment, I was informed that this scan could not be done, because of a conflict with medications (prescribed by the VA) that I’m taking. That aside, the scan I need requires a Cardiologist to be present, and the only one working there works on Tuesday.
My meds are from the VA. Why cannot some computer program, my Doctor, or someone at the VA check for this kind of conflict before setting an appointment like this? I do not receive travel reimbursement, and gas is at around $3 gallon at present.
Additionally, I was instructed to take nothing by mouth after 12pm. Then, when I asked for a meal ticket, I was taken for a psych patient. I asked, ‘What has happened to the meal tickets?’
Someone told me it was abused too much. Well, I’d bet a sizeable amount, that the Veterans didn’t abuse it. Perhaps the employees of the center abused it?
I respectfully request a reply addressing these concerns. It certainly feels as though someone dropped the ball here. For your convenience, an email address.
PS. Don’t forget to eat a dick. Check that….eat a whole bag of them!
you could leave the blue part out, i guess.
