Don't feel badly. I'm very into technology and this is the first I'm hearing of it. After doing a bit of research on it, I like it a lot. If I hadn't just paid for another year of Tivo ($139), I'd build one of those myself. Heck I might anyway just for fun. It looks like the fee for the MythTV scheduling stuff
(Schedules Direct) is $20/year. Much cheaper.
