Thanks for all the votes guys

LJ I am very hurt that you are not keeping up with my current hairstyles. You probably haven't even realised I've been burned! Sob!

Ali, I tried to highlight my own hair once and just ended up with splotches. I had to have it repaired by a hairdresser. Foils are not my friend.

Clod – I don’t think stripping the colour out is as damaging as it sounds. My hair feels in good condition right now. I suppose I should only save it for when I’m determined to make a dramatic change though. Thing is, my healthy hair is often so limp – I long for a bit of frizz!

I think I am going to apply the red directly onto the blue already on there and see what happens. My guess is that it will turn different shades of purple, but who knows? The red might simply take where the blue hasn’t, giving me two-tone hair. It’s a gamble. Just have to find time to do it now – this weekend I am working Thurs-Fri-Sat-Sun! It’s a Bank Holiday Monday but sadly that’s set aside for moving 

Morethan…. Hmmmmm. I like my haircut. I’ve been trying to get to it for months. It’s a layered bob with a short fringe and I like the way it frames my face, the back is off my neck and I can tuck it behind my ears when I can’t hear (because it’s a curtain of hair that makes all the difference!) I love the way I can rumple it about when I get a sweaty head and it just looks a bit messed up, not ruined.

If you check my album you will see I’m not averse to different styles – describe a style which you think would flatter my face and I’ll consider it. Just remember my hair is very fine and will play dead if given the smallest chance!
