All my pix are looking washed out since last week when I spilled beer on my camera. Nikon 995. Subconciously I wanted to replace it anyway, I think.

I'm thinking digital SLR. Canon has a 6-megapixel model out that looks good ($1500 body only

). Plus lenses of course.

But if I'm gonna turn pro anyway... any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
