most likely/ main reasons being
(1) can't vote
(2) kids can do it at the same time. if we don't they have to wait til they're 18 and maybe miss out of various uni scholarships etc.
main con: cost. very expensive.
is not a huge huge step -you don't lose british citizenship, you become dual.
