Usually in the morning, but at other times of day too when the mood strikes.
Yeah they are used slates from a tearoff of an addition I built. I just smear the grout in as with tiles, but since the slates are so big I concentrate on the seams.
I like the variation in the slate, Even good ceramic tile looks unrelenting in its pattern.
