I find with wine that there are some very nice, very reasonably priced wines and there are some shit ones too. The same goes with expensive wines. Some are good, and some are shit.
What you enjoy in a wine is very much up to your own individual palate, so my advice is, there's sure to be something you'll like in a price range you're happy to pay. If you want to show off, then go ahead and buy the more expensive bottle, but personally, I think that sort of behaviour is for dicks.
