I took a gander at those links Billy posted and I was actually expecting to see ya in one Els. I was going to ask if you had ever gone, but I decided to ask coven questions instead
Nevada, in August, only gets to about 115F air temp. max., but I wouldn't recommend sitting on the ground. I've measured ground temps. up to 160F and that was in the late morning. Mid-day I'd definitely head to the air-conditioned RV or at least to the "Big Tent".
