*smiles* my final exam is on (I think) the 22nd. I have another essay due in either just before, or just after that (need to check deadlines board) and then that's my BA done with

I have been accepted provisionally onto the MA programme at my uni. Haven't yet sorted out funding. But this means I will need to do some research work over the Summer. I believe hand in date for my masters thesis is Sept 2010. So, the clock's already ticking lol.

I've decided to do something different with my masters thesis to the direction I've taken in my undergrad studies. Same period, and same kinds of historical questions, but much less of a focus on theoretical constructs. This will be grounded in primary source materials. And sources that haven't had much work done with them at that. There aren't many places to go for help lol. I honestly don;t know, how I'll answer the questions I want to ask. I am not yet even sure how to ask them...or which ones need asking. I have a start point (the courts martial records in london) and a few ideas of other places to look (local parish archives, newspaper reportage, like the Hue and Cry, and possibly popular ballads and cartoons.)

It's very very loose and vague right now. I don't even know if my main question is answerable *smiles* so...I need to get a head start in London. I have no idea where that will lead.

So what's your reading on today?

@ Sunday: you sound happy and upbeat m'dear. Isn't is glorious outside? We keep getting spells of overcast and rain, but mostly it's lovely.
