You know, I used to answer questions for the
Usenet Oracle, and over the years I had three different answers I wrote selected for the Oracularities. I felt they were more or less average, and I had much wittier efforts ignored. Maybe that's the way it is with stuff like that... if you think you're killing the joint, maybe you're just trying too hard. (Or maybe there's just a taste differential.)
