Well, IMO, it would be sort of a trade-off: Either we have less space, pay more and be happy amongst our own, or have more space, pay less and be surrounded by people who would rather raise kids than dealing with a childfree couple as neighbors. Could be kinda awkward.

Also, I guess it's always been my dream to live in a fabulous apt. building in the city. I grew up in the 'burbs, and it was cool and all, but I didn't have a choice for my first 18 years of life, y'know? Plus, I've just determined that I'm too much of a "city gal". For some reason, I love the hum and buzz of city life (you should see me when we get the chance to go up to NYC...it's like being on drugs! Not...that...I'd know what being on drugs feels like... ).
