I'm hearing that Merkin and Brit pineapple upside down cake are different. Well tough, she's getting the Brit version

and it's possibly getting made tonight, but the brit version has a syrupy bit round the pineapples, so soggy is not so much of an issue, but thanks, I will keep it in mind.
