I had Photoshop 3.0 for Mac years ago. Paid full price for a legal copy of that bad boy. Three computers and operating systems later, I switched to GIMP and am loving it. It's got different controls, and takes a while to get used to the new interface, but it has basically all the same things Photoshop had. Very powerful, and free.
