Of course these days, ten to a penny you'll hear the music of Doctor Who at the proms. It's been re-embraced as quintessentially British since you were last here. Can't move in the toy shops for plastic daleks and light-up sonic screwdrivers. The BBC have even made their Christmas ident along a Who theme (the Doctor riding his tardis like a sleigh, with reindeer pulling it along through the snow.) It's the new Christmas day 'tradition' watching the Christmas special, has been for the last 4 years.
And yes, I can turn any topic to Doctor Who :P
