A good paint job, would set you back $7k (over here), it's not going to increase the value that much.

I'd be more inclined to get a good cut n polish, get your rubbers redone (normal mechanic can do it), tint windows and get some new wheels.

go for it. Look into what it willdo to your insurance and reg. Here if you have to go through a bit because your are changing your colour n it won't match your cars plates.
