I tip well because i'm married to a man who orders like sally from "When Harry Met Sally".

I used to get embarrassed. Now I just apologize in advance and tip well. Plus I tell them I tip well, so I get better service.

Tipping used to come at the beginning of the meal, and the better the tip, the better your service.
