Heh.... my mom dropped hints for a salad shooter one year, must've been when they were kinda new. She ended up with THREE of them under the tree, from my dad, my sister, and me. (She exchanged mine and my dad's, allegedly because we kept our receipts and my sister didn't. However my sister had also sprung for the rechargable version!
