Pastoral Dreamer is a sculpture by David L Phelps, installed at the University of Oklahoma in Norman.
It looks like a triple life sized barefoot farm boy, dressed in denim, with his butt sunk in to the earth.
The first picture I saw wasn't very good, so I started searching for a better one.
I hope you appreciate the shit I do for youze guys.
But I found was several pictures with different landscaping.
Come to find out, there was an artist's proof, and six copies, made of this work.
Phelps has made a lot of sculptures involving people, sometimes with props like boats, sinking into the earth.
