Emrikol - Parents feel like they need to keep raising you - long past the age at which you no longer need parenting.
I second Beestie here. Get yourself a little apartment and get out. And tell your dad thanks but no thanks. At that point you can tell your dad to stfu (but nicely). You will feel much better for it. And he will likely feel relieved too (after a bit).
The main thing to remember is that your parent's opinion of you is not who you are.
