This. The whole concept of synesthesia is that it is fairly unique for each person who experiences it--one might very strongly sense a certain sound or concept as
blue, while another might be just as sure that the same input equaled
square. It is definitely not about a one-to-one correlation of pictures shifting upward a bit to represent higher pitches. That's called musical notation.
