When I was in Prague, I didn't see too many people over the age of 40.  I guess they were around, I just didn't notice them.  I stuck out like a huge sore thumb.  Most of the people I encountered, if they spoke to me, they began by speaking to me in German.  It was obvious I was not Czech, by my size and probably my features.  Most of the Czech people I noticed were small and thin.  In Southern Bohemia, the older folks seemed very simple and kind.  I would say that about everyone I encountered in Czech Republic was pretty nice to me.  And they have entire aisles in the grocery store devoted to delicious, European chocolate.
