My wife used some Hilton certificates for free lodging so the hotel near the Arch de Triumphe was free. She stretched it a bit by telling them we were celebrating our wedding anniversary (from November) there. They surprised us with fresh flowers, cake and champagne. They also gave us a prime room with a view of the Eiffel Tower.
