yeah that worked. That's the premise I operate on.
I literally brushed everything on the kitchen floor (nerf guns, sneakers, whatever... down the step into the living room and we pretended the rest of the house didn't exist!
You can pretend this isn't true if you don't want to believe I am such a terrible slob.
Why did I not have time even to pick up this shit? because I'm a perfectionist, and if I do a job, I do it perfectly...and if I don't have time/willing for that, I don't do it at all. So most stuff doesn't get done. But I decided to wash up everything that didn't fit in the dishwasher. I didn't really have time for the consequences of that decision.
