apt-get for Red Hat/RPM based distributions

Everyone should switch to RedHat 7.2 <b>right now</b>. I just found (and am installing packages with!) apt for Red Hat. apt = A Package Tool and is the basis for Debian's awesome distro. Well, now apt handles RPM's through a port. You can find the RPM here:

http://rpmfind.net//linux/RPM/freshr...rh7x.i386.html

For Red Hat 7.x machines. Install that, then do this:

apt-get update

and then you can apt-get install away!

Try

apt-get install bitchx

to install BitchX and its dependencies. Nice, eh? Very very cool.

Anyway. I recommend this for those wanting to try it out - it's definitely working nice for me, and right now I feel I have the best of both worlds - Red Hat w/SMP, plus Debian's apt utility. Very cool.
