First of all - thanks for keeping me updated on what you are doing with your free time I walk a lot, too - or, I used to, before Ohio became just another Pennsylvanian swamp (eight weeks of continuous rainfall followed by scorching heat = SwampOhio)

Secondly - I love that you used the word 'vexed'.

Lastly - I've been following the Casey Anthony trial, too, and I have a theory. Maybe it's stupid, maybe I'm projecting but what I think happened is that Casey hates her mother so much and resents her and just really, really despises her and was jealous that Cindy was horning in on being Queen Mother and she thought, well, I'll fix her; I'll take away what she cares about most! Because, honey, Cindy Anthony is a walking pathology of narcissistic nutty-goodness, coupled with the control issues of a Stalin, and merged with the self-righteousness of a True Borderline. Cindy begat Casey but didn't LOVE Casey - only competed with her and was determined to keep Casey under her thumb, by god, but Casey outsmarted her. She did something Cindy never dreamt she'd do - kill Caylee.

Whaddya think?

"Shall I give you a kiss?" Peter asked and, jerking an acorn button off his coat, solemnly presented it to her.
