I am very spoiled having my own thread

Today has been the bestest birthday I've had in years.
I will follow up with pics.

Low-key (not Lyesmith) by most people's standards, but great for me, just happiness.
Had an unpleasant beginning, which again I will post about later, but I emerged victorious, and didn't dwell on it too much thanks to medication and counselling over the years... Just a petty office worker (Infi she was right in that I didn't follow set procedure, and I smiled and apologised, but she was very rude about something that wasn't my fault).

Just had dinner out - at the Dairy Maid, natch.
It went pretty well.
Mum is in a very pissy mood, so I'm just pleased we got through it okay.
She threatened to punch Dad in the face on the way there, so it was always going to be a little bit fraught.

I had the Chicken New Yorker.
I honestly should not have finished it, but when it's only a few more bites of chicken it seems so wrong to leave it on the plate. At least I was too full for dessert.
