I am humbled before your huge tracts of land.
I'm afraid I only looked at Shel's joining date (once), and not his location.
I simply assumed he was one of the Founding Daddies and therefore East Coast.
Now I know AND UNDERSTAND his location, I will never credit earthquakes to him - unless in his specific area.
My complete bad - given the size of your country it's worse than suggesting CZ lives next door to Limey.
I bow my head.
I'm pignorant (Pig + Ignorant) re American geography, in that I know less than the average American. But I did study Migration Patterns in American History, so I (should) at least know the effect the Appalachians had on settlement (?)
And know the Eastern Seaboard.
And I read those important historical documents
Children on the Oregan Trail and
Little House on the Prairie (and NOT the TV series that was nice to everyone) the real book where they were so terrified of Indians they left their house behind...
Anyway.
I'm also reasonably cognisant of geography, and of course I'm here.
So I can picture the rough geography of the States.
Not up to American standards, but up to English Pub Quiz Standards at least!
Which still makes me completely pignorant compared to a 10 year old child.
