GHOST WALK: Ghouls & Villains - take the ever popular tour of notoriously haunted and chilling crime spots of Aylesbury Town Centre with the Rebellious Subjects Theatre Company. WALK: Halloween Walk of Horror, a guided walk of around 1 mile, lasting 1 and a half to 2 hours, in Wendover Woods, searching for the devilish creatures that inhabit the woods on Halloween night. We dare you to book onto this walk! Meet at the Caf in the Woods. off the B4009 towards St Leonards, signposted Wendover Woods. Turn right onto the forest drive. The cafe is in the centre of the woods. Gates open at 6.30pm for 7pm start. Caf will be open for food. Fancy dress optional, there's a prize for the best. You must book in advance. Call Kat Calver 01420 520212 (our regional office) 6 per person. No dogs allowed. Maximum number of 40 people. Under 12's must be accompanied. Bring a torch, and wear sturdy shoes/boots. Run by, and in aid of, the Forestry Commission.
HALLOWEEN: Creepy Claydon tours run at 6pm, 7pm and 8pm. The 6pm tour is suitable for younger children. Tickets cost 3 per person and booking is essential due to limited numbers on each tour. Please call 01280 822850 to book tickets or for more information. Visitors to Claydon House will be given a guided tour of the ground floor of the house in the dark whilst listening to tales of mystery and suspense. Bring a torch and considerable courage - you may meet the ghost of Florence Nightingale or Sir Edmund Verney who was killed in the Civil War!
