Sometimes that stuff is not so far fetched. In overseas military units are small pockets of people who think like UG. Who think military crimes are perfectly acceptable. Who approve of torture. And know that JAG is evil.
Sometimes it does not justify the actions by others that expose that crime. But their actions are secondary. Primary are the actions of those who commit the crime and their peers who are accessories to that crime. All in the name of "I feel it is right; so it must be right".
