Yes Pico, they will. From my limited research, there are a ton of variables involved.
If he/she has insurance not being the least of which.
If they do not, IM's carrier MAY put part of the claim under her UM and other part(s)
under her collision. (The collision part WOULD be subject to her deductible.)
I hate to say this, but I'm close to advising her to call an attorney.
