My son walked by and asked if this was a sapphire. Good eyes, my 13 year old! You will make a woman very happy some day.

Sorry to say, though, that we are not looking at a sappire, but at a man-made particle.

If it is man-made, why do they call it the God Particle? Read on, my friends. Are You Amazed?
