You can always count on the Boy Scouts. Doubtless they laced the food with saltpeter at camp.
The Girl Guides, on the other hand, never told us not to abuse ourselves; they delicately avoided the subject entirely. Maybe we were presumed to be incapable of such a thing, (similar to sweating, which was considered unsuitable for young ladies).
