I think you're right neither the Mirage 5 or Mirage 50 has canards

DID here. Headline story titled "Cheetahs and Mirage 50s for Ecuador". I fell for it.
If you scroll down to the thumbnail, which is the same one in your link, it's labeled Jas-39s and Cheetahs. So is the embiggened picture.
That'll learn me not to try thinking at 4 in the morning.
