Sadly, I never had the chance to get to know my grandmothers, much less experience their cooking. I've always said I'll try anything once. Looking at these dishes, I think I only said that because I've never seen truly exotic food before.
Okay, so maybe I'll try those dishes....a tiny spoon... once. Except for the caterpillar dish.
