Nothing really. I think that they found the phrase "Adminstative Professionals" more pleasing. Is it so "bad" that they would like to be known as such?

Actually, it IS possible to have a degree in
Applied and Information Technology. Although, when I was going to college, it was just Information Technology.

Oh, you mean like when I put the word "Specialist" after the phrase "Data Entry" so then it would look like "Data Entry Specialist" on my resume? Ah, but it looks SOOO much more professional than just "typist". No stupid ass "PC" reason necessary.
