I suppose if they give you something without paperwork, and you have a bad side effect reaction, their ass is grass. Everything has side effects and sometimes they don't show up until you've been exposed for awhile. The other thing is it's government property and you know as sloppy as the government is, they do like to pull inventory at inopportune times.
You can't really blame them for covering their ass, so your best bet is sucker punch them and run with... ok, limp with, the goods.
