Now Purdey was always as good as the best, for the last couple of centuries, they kept up with technology consistently. That engraving in the metalwork and fit/finish in the woodwork is flawless. But you know all that pretty doesn't put an extra ounce of meat on the table, There are much, much, much, cheaper guns that will do as well providing supper.
However an up to date technologically, hand built flawlessly, dressed up prettily, shotgun, is gonna be pricey. Guess that's why they
start at about $140,000.
