Speaking of WMD and the like, I remember reading a statistic that said the United States had the potential to destroy the world ten times over with the amount of nuclear weapons we have. Then there's Russia (who's not far behind), China, France, Israel, etc, etc. We have literally tens of thousands of nukes in the world and yet research and development keep pushing.
