I use Passport USB hard drives. I choose them for portability, convenience and because I have a low data cap that cloud storage would quickly eat up.

On the rare occasions that I use a cloud, I use Dropbox. I share pictures and video clips with friends that way but nothing secure or private. I do not trust cloud claims of privacy and security. A cloud is just a hard drive someplace else that you essentially telnet into. It can be hacked and eventually they WILL be hacked.

That's my two cents anyway.
