When I saw this group called Hand Flowers by
Maude White, I thought that's fine work, steady hand stuff.
I figured she used some sort of white ink or paint on clear glass to draw the flower.
Then photograph it with her hand behind, in front of a black background.
Wrong, presumptuous breath, that would be much too easy.
Actually it's archival paper, she cut by hand with a blade.
Blade. Cut. Paper. Mic drop.
Actually these flowers, while fine, look easier than some of the portraits and animals she has in her portfolio.
I didn't see any time numbers, or prices, but they must both be considerable.
