The Pontiac Silverdome was the former home of the Detroit Lions, but they left town and the stadium sat until it was bought by some Canadians for I believe less than half a million.

Now the parking lot is full of Volkswagen diesels, bought back by the dealers, and being stored until they can come up with a fix. If that happens they will be repaired and resold. If not, they will be "recycled"

But the city is pissed and suing the owners of the Silverdome for illegal storage, no permits and anything else they can think of.
