It's missing stupidity. Or maybe that's the base on which the spices are applied.
Like with the latest Hitler thing. I doubt he's a Holocaust denier, but when you go from (paraphrasing) "Hitler didn't use gas" to "he didn't gas his own people, to "he didn't drop gas from planes", that's just stupidity.
