There was an excellent review of that film in the NewYorker. I wasnt going to see it.....I just didnt really see how Homer could work in movie form....But the reviewer seemed to think it worked. He raised an interesting question for me though.
Given how well Aramaic apparently worked in Mel Gibsons film, could Troy have been better done in ancient greek?
I think I might go see it after all. That's two positive reviews....and the point about Brad Pitt and the leather and sweat and stuff...
