I like watching the 'Tubers that find an old vehicle in the field/barn, and make the thing run, and sometimes drive it outta the field, all with minimal parts replacement.
One thing a lot of those guys have in common is when they pull the dipstick to see what the oil looks like, they all (ok, almost all) lick the dipstick. I guess oil that has broken down beyond lubricating ability tastes different from usable oil?
